Praise and Encouragement - 12/1/25
Praise and encouragement are two of the most powerful tools we have as parents to shape behavior and build a child’s confidence. When used the right way - calmly, specifically, and consistently - they help children feel seen, supported, and motivated to try again. Praise tells your child, “I noticed you.” Encouragement tells them, “I believe in you.” And together, they create a home where cooperation grows, emotions settle more easily, and kids feel safe enough to become their best selves.
